What is Fonnebust's AI consulting?
Fonnebust AS provides AI consulting and on-demand R&D for industry and machine shops, from Mongstad, Vestland, in Western Norway. What does it cost to get started?
The first talk is free: 30 minutes where you tell us how you work today, and we tell you honestly if AI isn't the right tool. If you want to go further, you can book a full-day evaluation on site with a written report (NOK 35,000) or a one-hour online consultation (NOK 2,500).
Can you get data out of older CNC machines?
Yes. Data capture from older machines and equipment is part of our on-demand R&D: over serial (RS-232 / DNC), network and sensors. Machines we work with include HAAS and FANUC. Old machines, new data.
Does our production data have to go to the cloud?
No. What we build runs local-first: captured data stays on your own network by default, and you keep the models. We only bring in cloud when the job genuinely needs it, and we agree it with you first.
